How we make money

The planner is free and needs no account. It is paid for in two ways: ads beside the planner, and a fee when you book some of the services we point to after your result. Neither changes which truck we tell you fits.

Ads

We don't show ads yet. When we do, they will sit beside and below the planner, never on top of the 3D view, and this page and the privacy page will say so first.

Fees from the next steps

After your result, we may suggest one or two next steps that fit it: help to load the truck, booking the truck itself, a box kit sized from your own list, a moving container when everything won't fit in one truck, or storage for what's left over. If you book or buy through one of those links, the company may pay us a fee. You pay the same price. Each link has a short note beside it saying so.

None of these links is live yet, so nothing on this site earns us a fee today.

What we never do

• We never let a fee change a result. The packing is the same maths for every truck, and the sizes come from each company's own pages.
• We don't arrange or broker moves, pick a mover for you, or take payment for a move.
• We don't sell your list, your email or anything else about you.
• Some suggestions aren't shown in some states, because the law there treats a paid referral to a moving crew differently.
