About Every Last Box

By the Every Last Box teamHow we measureHow we make money

Every Last Box answers one question before moving day: will my stuff fit in the truck I'm about to rent? You list your furniture, and it packs it in 3D into real rental truck sizes, so you can rent the right size the first time.

Why it exists

Most answers online are tables of truck sizes or rules of thumb ("a 15' truck for a 2‑bedroom"), and they often disagree with each other. A table can't tell you whether your king mattress gets through a 5'7" door, or whether your sectional leaves room for the boxes. Packing your actual list into the actual truck can.

What's in it

20 trucks, vans and trailers from U‑Haul, Penske, Budget, Enterprise, each with its source and the date we checked it, and 44 common household items. How we measure explains where every number comes from and the limits of the packing.

How it is paid for

The planner is free and needs no account. It is paid for by ads beside the planner (never on top of the 3D view) and, for some next steps after your result, a fee from the company you book with. How we make money has the details. We don't sell anything ourselves, and we are not affiliated with U‑Haul, Penske, Budget, Enterprise or Home Depot. Brand names are used only to say which truck a size belongs to.

What it is not

It's a planning tool, not a booking site or a moving company. Rental fleets vary, so check the size of the truck you are given and follow the rental company's loading and weight rules.
